Bonjour tout le monde et heureuse tardif Thanksgiving!!!πŸ˜„

I hope you all had a great week with your families and ate lots of yummy food. It has been such a great week! On Thanksgiving day, I went on splits with my old companion, Sister Blanc, and of course she made me lots of yummy Haitian food! Black Friday was also spent on splits with another sister. This whole day we only taught Haitians and Africans.

Sister Neri and I have had an awesome week full of lots and lots of teaching. One night we had back to back to back lessons. It was so exhausting, but so fun. I love teaching with Sister Neri. I feel that we are super unified in our teaching and it feels so natural when I teach with her.

This last week, the new Christmas initiative started for all of the missionaries, which I just love. On Sunday, Sister Neri and I got to teach the third hour lesson along with singing carols. Our new amazing senior couple in the branch, the Christensen’s, participated too. They are helping the missionary work in the branch sooo much!! We talked about missionary work, the best! We helped to motivate and give the members ideas on how we can continue to improve. We shared the new Christmas video and challenged all our members to share it, invite their friends to their Christmas activities this month, and share their testimonies of the Savior this Christmas season. We also gave out lots of fun cards with the new theme, “A Savior is Born.” I just love Christmas time. I love talking to everyone about our message of Christmas that is centered on our Savior, Jesus Christ. There is no better time of the year to invite others to learn about the Savior’s birth and why He is important to us.

We have found a lot of new investigators this last week who are super cool and interested in learning more. The work is going really good in Laurier right now. Sister Neri and I continue to feel so blessed and we keep thanking our Heavenly Father for all His help and tender mercies.

I am so thankful for my Savior, Jesus Christ. I know He lives. I am eternally grateful for His atoning sacrifice, His grace, and His love and mercy that He so willingly gives each one of us. I know as we focus and center this month on the Savior and His teachings, our Christmas season will be filled with love, joy and hope! I love you all and I wish you the best week!!!
