My name is Madeline Hunt. I am from Salt Lake City, Utah. First just a little about me: I have grown up in Utah my whole life. I am the youngest of a family of 5 kids. I love my family more than anything. Some of my hobbies is dancing, soccer, and reading. I also love anything outdoors. I love hiking and spending time in the mountains. I also currently just finished my first year of college at Brigham Young University. I am majoring in Elementary Education and hope someday to become a teacher.
On a more exciting note this last year I have been called to serve a mission for The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day Saints. I have been assigned to labor in the Canada Montreal Mission, French speaking. I will be serving my mission for a period of 18 months and enter the Provo Missionary Training Center on June 25th.
As a missionary I will have the opportunity and privilege to serve the people of Montreal through service and sharing the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. My goal and purpose as a missionary is to invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end.
I am more than thrilled to do the Lords work by sharing this great gospel with others. It has come to bless my life in many different ways and I can not wait to share this joy and happiness with others.
The purpose of this blog is to keep people updated on my experiences and adventures as a sister missionary. My mom will update my blog once a week for me as she uploads letters and pictures to the blog. Please feel free to write, I would love to keep in touch with you all.
I wish everyone the best and I’ll see you in 18 months!
